PV8000 is an intelligent pressure switch designed for advanced industrial pressure and temperature monitoring. It provides a 0–400 bar pressure measuring range and integrated temperature monitoring. Two digital outputs provide configurable pressure-related switching functions. IO-Link transmits pressure, temperature, diagnostics and additional device information. PV8000 measures pressure from 0 to 400 bar and temperature from −40 to 90 °C. Pressure and temperature data can be communicated through IO-Link. The sensor supports configurable switching points for pressure and temperature monitoring. IO-Link provides pressure resolution of 0.2 bar and temperature resolution of 0.2 K. Temperature peak counters and pressure peak counters provide additional diagnostic information.
The sensor uses a metallic thin-film pressure measuring cell. Its G1/4 process connection includes an internal M5 thread. Stainless-steel wetted materials provide strong mechanical durability. The sensor supports 60 million pressure cycles at specified conditions. IP67/IP69K protection and high shock and vibration resistance make it suitable for demanding industrial installations.
PV8000 is suitable for hydraulic systems where pressure and temperature need to be monitored together. It can provide machine-protection functions based on both variables. IO-Link enables integration with PLCs and intelligent automation systems. Operating-hours and switching-cycle counters can assist predictive maintenance.
