The IF6030 uses inductive sensing technology to measure the distance of metallic targets without physical contact. Its 0.4–4 mm measuring range makes it suitable for precise position and distance monitoring in automated machinery.
The sensor provides a linear 4–20 mA analogue output. The output has a gradient of approximately 4.44 mA/mm, allowing the measured target distance to be transferred continuously to a PLC, controller or other compatible automation system.
