The IFM TCC231 temperature transmitter is a compact self-monitoring solution for accurate temperature measurement in industrial and hygienic process applications. It uses a Pt1000 measuring element with an NTC reference element and supports a scalable measuring range from -25 to 160 °C. The transmitter provides a 4–20 mA analogue output, diagnostic output and IO-Link communication. Its 100 mm installation length, 160 bar pressure rating, stainless-steel wetted parts and IP68/IP69K protection provide reliable process operation.
Explore performance details, construction highlights, applications, and technical information in one clear overview.
The TCC231 is an IFM temperature transmitter designed to provide accurate temperature measurement together with continuous sensor monitoring. The Pt1000 measuring element works with an NTC reference element to help identify measurement deviations and support calibration checks. IO-Link communication enables parameterisation, process-value access and diagnostics, while the analogue output provides a standard 4–20 mA signal for industrial control systems.
The TCC231 has a scalable measuring range of -25 to 160 °C and a factory setting of -10 to 150 °C. Its calibration-check limit can be adjusted from 0.5 to 3 K in 0.05 K steps. Both the analogue output and IO-Link provide an accuracy of ±0.2 K. The sensor offers a 0.05 K analogue resolution and a dynamic response of approximately 1.5 seconds for T05 and 4 seconds for T09.
The TCC231 has a 100 mm installation length and a 6 mm probe diameter with a clamp adapter connection. Its wetted parts are manufactured from 316L stainless steel and have a surface roughness of Ra <0.8 µm. The transmitter is suitable for liquids and gases and can withstand pressures up to 160 bar. Its compact construction, IP68/IP69K protection and gold-plated M12 contacts make it suitable for demanding industrial and hygienic process environments.
