TA2242 is designed for temperature measurement in tanks, vessels and process piping. The 150 mm probe provides extended insertion depth. Its Pt1000 Class A element delivers accurate temperature measurement. The 4–20 mA output supports PLC integration. IO-Link adds digital parameterisation and diagnostics.
Temperature is measured through the resistance variation of the Pt1000 element. The internal electronics calculate the temperature from the resistance value.
