The MK5329 is a compact magnetic cylinder sensor developed for precise piston-position detection. It is particularly suitable for short-stroke cylinders where conventional sensors may require more installation space. Its AMR sensing element detects the piston magnet without physical contact. The sensor can be mounted directly into the cylinder groove and adjusted to the required switching point.
The sensor provides a PNP normally-open output with a switching frequency of up to 5 kHz. Its 2 mT magnetic sensitivity and travel speed above 10 m/s support fast actuator detection.
