The KI0016 provides a 15 mm adjustable sensing range. Its real sensing range is 15 ±10%. The operating distance is 0–12.1 mm. Capacitive technology enables contactless detection. Correction factors are specified for glass, water, ceramics, and PVC.
The sensor accepts 20–250 V AC/DC. Its normally open output provides up to 200 mA continuous switching current. AC switching is rated at 25 Hz, while DC switching reaches 40 Hz. Short-circuit and overload protection are not provided. A miniature fuse of ≤2 A fast acting is required.
