The KD5018 provides a 60 mm sensing range with an actual sensing range of 60 ±10%. The operating distance is 0 to 48.6 mm. Hysteresis is 1 to 15% of Sr. Switch-point drift is -15 to 15% of Sr. The sensing range can be adjusted to match the application.
The sensor uses a DC PNP output with selectable normally open and normally closed functionality. It operates from 10 to 36 V DC with 15 mA current consumption at 24 V.
