The KD0024 provides a 60 mm sensing range that can be adjusted during commissioning. Its real sensing range is 60 ±10%, with an operating distance of 0 to 48.6 mm. Hysteresis is 1 to 15% of Sr. Correction factors are provided for glass, water, ceramics and PVC. This enables flexible detection of different industrial materials.
The sensor operates from 20 to 250 V AC/DC. Its output function is selectable between normally open and normally closed. Continuous current is 200 mA, while short-time current reaches 1500 mA for 20 ms at 0.5 Hz. AC and DC switching frequency is 10 Hz. Short-circuit and overload protection are not integrated.
The KD0024 uses a rectangular 105 × 80 × 40 mm PPE-modified housing. It is non-flush mountable and provides IP65 protection. A red LED indicates switching status.
