The KT5006 detects touch without requiring mechanical pressure on a conventional pushbutton. Its static capacitive operating principle allows wear-free switching. The large Ø100 mm actuating surface provides a generous operating area. This makes the sensor suitable for applications where conventional mechanical buttons are undesirable.
