The KI6000 uses capacitive measurement to detect a wide range of materials. Its factory sensing range is 25 mm, while the adjustable range extends from 0.5 to 40 mm. The KI6000 uses a non-flush M30 × 1.5 threaded housing. Its overall length is approximately 92 mm. The housing uses PBT, PC and POM materials. Two lock nuts are supplied for mounting. An M12 A-coded connector provides the electrical interface.
The KI6000 operates from -25 to 80 °C ambient temperature. It is rated IP65, IP67 and IP69K for demanding industrial environments. The sensor supports medium temperatures up to 110 °C.
