The Tube Fitting Spatter is a push-in fitting designed to prevent spatter-related malfunctions during tube connections and disconnections. Its primary purpose is to ensure reliable performance in environments where sparks or spatter are present—such as during welding or high-heat operations—by protecting critical components from damage caused by splatter buildup.
The main metal parts are constructed from brass with electroless nickel plating, providing durability and corrosion resistance. The joint interface uses a flame-retardant resin that meets UL94 V-0 standard, ensuring high resistance to spatter. This resin is specifically used in key structural areas where weld spatter exposure is most likely.
The fitting features a push-in design with a cover that protects the gap between the body and release ring. A step structure inside the release ring prevents spark intrusion from the tube port, while the cover ensures the release ring remains functional even under spatter conditions.
The Tube Fitting Spatter is rated for maximum operating pressure of 0.9MPa and can handle a maximum vacuum of -100kPa. It operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60℃, with no freezing allowed. The fluid medium is suitable for air or water under conditional use.
Available in multiple sizes including φ4, φ6, φ8, φ10, and φ12 mm. Thread options include M5x0.8 and M6x1 metric threads, as well as taper pipe threads R1/8, R1/4, R3/8, and R1/2. These variants ensure compatibility with a wide range of tube systems and installation requirements.
The fitting is designed for direct integration into piping systems where spatter exposure is a concern. It supports secure push-in connections that do not require tools, making it ideal for field installations or environments requiring rapid assembly and disassembly.
