The Tube Fitting Chemical is a push-in fitting designed for secure, tool-free connection of tubing to pipes or other components. It features an all-resin construction with a PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) body and a FKM (fluorocarbon rubber) seal, providing reliable performance in environments where chemical resistance, heat stability, and mechanical strength are critical.
The fitting's main structural component is made from PPS resin, known for its excellent heat resistance, flame retardancy (UL94 V-0), and superior chemical resistance. The sealing interface uses FKM rubber, which offers outstanding performance in heat, chemical, and ozone resistance. No copper-based metallic materials are used in the flow path to ensure compatibility with corrosive or reactive fluids.
The fitting connects via a push-in mechanism that aligns with standard tapered pipe threads including R1/8, R1/4, R3/8, and R1/2. This threaded interface ensures a secure fit when mating with compatible tubing or piping systems using the specified thread sizes.
The fitting is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 0.9MPa (at 0 to 20℃) and can withstand a maximum vacuum of -100kPa. It operates effectively within a temperature range of 0 to 80℃ under normal conditions, though some applications may require adherence to the 0 to 60℃ limit depending on system design.
Available in multiple sizes with outer diameters of φ4, φ6, φ8, φ10, and φ12 mm. The product is offered in standard configurations for common pipe thread types (R1/8, R1/4, R3/8, R1/2), allowing flexibility in system integration across various industrial applications.
Installation requires no lubrication—assembly is performed without the use of grease or oil. The fitting is designed to be pushed directly into place, ensuring a simple and reliable connection process that does not require tools or additional preparation.
