Explore performance details, construction highlights, applications, and technical information in one clear overview.
The Slot-head Speed Controller is a precision device designed to maintain consistent airflow speed without requiring manual adjustments during operation. By eliminating the need for external needles or mechanical tuning, it ensures stable performance and reduces operator intervention, improving efficiency in automated or continuous air handling systems.
The main resin components are manufactured using PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a standard engineering plastic well-suited for general environmental conditions. Key metal parts, including structural elements and fittings, are constructed from brass with electroless nickel plating to enhance corrosion resistance and durability. The seal rubber components utilize both NBR and HNBR materials—NBR for standard sealing performance and HNBR for improved ozone resistance in low-concentration ozone environments.
The controller features a design without an external needle for speed adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune the output using a slot screwdriver directly on the body. This integrated mechanism ensures precise control while maintaining a clean, streamlined profile suitable for tight installation spaces.
The Slot-head Speed Controller is designed for use with air as the fluid medium and operates within a pressure range of 0.1 to 0.9 MPa. It features a check valve that begins cracking at 0.05 MPa, ensuring unidirectional flow. The operating temperature range is from 0°C to 60°C, with no freezing capability under normal conditions.
Available in multiple sizes across both metric and imperial dimensions: φ3, φ4, φ6, φ8, φ10, φ12 mm (equivalent to φ1/8, φ5/32, φ3/16, φ1/4, φ5/16, φ3/8, φ1/2 inches). It also offers a range of threaded connections including M3x0.5 and M5x0.8 metric male threads, R1/8 to R1/2 taper pipe threads, and UNF 10-32UNF as well as NPT1/8 through NPT1/2 threads.
The unit is designed for direct integration into air flow systems with threaded connections. It supports installation via metric male threads (M3x0.5, M5x0.8), taper pipe male threads (R1/8 to R1/2), and standard UNF or NPT threads (10-32UNF, NPT1/8 to NPT1/2). The clean-room packaged design includes fluorine grease for lubrication and is sealed in a clean room environment after cleaning with clean air, ensuring contamination-free handling.
