Construction and Materials

The main resin components are manufactured using PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a standard engineering plastic well-suited for general environmental conditions. The primary metal parts are constructed from brass with an electroless nickel plating, providing enhanced corrosion resistance and durability in typical industrial settings. Sealing elements utilize NBR (nitrile rubber) as the base material, offering reliable sealing performance under normal conditions; however, HNBR (a hydrogen-modified version of NBR) is used for improved ozone resistance in low-concentration ozone environments.

Configuration and Connections

The pressure controller features multiple connection options to suit different system configurations. It can be connected via metric male thread (M5x0.8), taper pipe male threads (R1/8, R1/4, R3/8, R1/2), or standard UNF threads (10-32UNF). Additionally, it supports NPT threaded connections including NPT1/8, NPT1/4, NPT3/8, and NPT1/2. The device operates with a check valve mechanism that ensures pressure direction is maintained depending on the supply source.

Operating Characteristics

The Pressure Controller is designed for use with air as the fluid medium and operates within an input pressure range of 0 to 0.9 MPa. It provides precise pressure regulation between 0.2 and 0.6 MPa, allowing fine-tuned control over system output. The device functions reliably across ambient temperatures from 0°C to 60°C, with no freezing risk under normal operating conditions.

Available in a range of sizes to match various installation needs, the Pressure Controller offers φ4 through φ12 mm metric diameters, corresponding to φ5/32 through φ1/2 inch sizes. This variety ensures compatibility with different actuator and piping systems across industrial applications.

The pressure controller integrates directly into pneumatic circuits using threaded connections such as M5x0.8, R1/8 to R1/2 taper pipe threads, or NPT1/8 through NPT1/2. It is designed for direct mounting in systems where pressure regulation during actuator advance and return strokes is required, enabling efficient operation with reduced air consumption by limiting pressure only during the home return phase.
