The OGD596 provides a 0.025...0.3 m measuring range with a 33 Hz sampling rate. Its maximum light spot width and height are 3 mm at the maximum range. Background suppression extends from 0.03 to 19.2 m. The sensor is suitable for accurate detection of objects positioned relatively close to the sensor. This makes it useful for compact machine assemblies and production equipment.
The OGD596 provides two PNP digital outputs. Each output can be configured as normally open, normally closed, window, or switched off. Each switching output supports a permanent current rating of 100 mA. Pulsed short-circuit protection and overload protection are integrated.
