Product Overview

The Main Block is a modular component designed for flexible manifold assembly. It enables users to create custom branching configurations by freely combining multiple blocks, allowing precise control over fluid distribution in air systems. This design supports scalable and adaptable piping layouts without the need for pre-fabricated manifolds.

Construction and Materials

The main resin components are manufactured from PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a standard engineering plastic suitable for general environmental conditions. Metal parts, including threaded fittings and structural elements, are made from brass with electroless nickel plating to ensure durability and corrosion resistance in typical operating environments. The seal material used is NBR (nitrile rubber), which provides effective sealing but has limited ozone resistance.

Configuration and Connections

The Main Block features fully customizable inlet and outlet configurations. Users can freely select the number, shape, size, and type of connections—such as metric female threads or taper pipe threads—allowing alignment with diverse system requirements. This flexibility supports integration into a wide range of industrial air distribution setups.

Operating Characteristics

The Main Block is rated for operation under a maximum pressure of 1.0MPa (or 0.9MPa, depending on specification) and can handle a maximum vacuum of -100kPa. It operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60°C, ensuring no freezing conditions are encountered during use. These values define the safe operational limits for air-based applications.

Sizes and Options

Available in multiple sizes including φ4, φ6, φ8, φ10, φ12, and φ16 mm (equivalent to φ1/2" and φ5/8" in inch size), the block offers a range of physical dimensions for different system needs. Thread options include metric female threads M5x0.8 and M6x1, as well as taper pipe female threads Rc1/8, Rc1/4, Rc3/8, and Rc1/2 (with Rc1/2 available in some variants). Taper pipe male threads range from R1/8 to R1.

Installation and Integration

The Main Block includes an easy-to-connect Coupling Module that allows for quick attachment and disconnection. This module supports connection with coupling components from other brands, enabling interoperability across different system manufacturers and simplifying maintenance or reconfiguration.
