Continuous level sensor (guided wave radar) LR2750

The IFM LR2750 is a guided wave radar level sensor designed for hygienic continuous level measurement. It supports probe lengths from 150 to 2000 mm and uses an Aseptoflex Vario process connection. The sensor provides one switching output and one scalable 4...20 mA analogue output. IO-Link provides digital parameterisation and process information. It is suitable for water, hydrous media, oils, and oil-based media in industrial and hygienic applications.

Hygienic Level Measurement

The LR2750 is designed for process environments where hygienic installation is important. The guided wave radar probe provides continuous liquid-level measurement. The probe length can be adapted to the vessel. The Aseptoflex Vario connection supports hygienic process installation. This makes the sensor suitable for food and beverage processing equipment.

Analogue and Switching Output

The sensor combines one switching output with one 4...20 mA analogue output. The digital output can be configured as normally open or normally closed. The analogue output can be scaled and inverted. Up to 150 mA continuous output current is supported, increasing to 200 mA at temperatures up to 60 °C. This provides flexible process-control integration.

IO-Link Communication

IO-Link provides digital access to parameters and process information. The sensor supports modern automation-system integration. Fault states can be configured for safe output behaviour. The probe can be shortened to suit different tank heights, with a minimum probe length of 150 mm. These functions simplify commissioning and maintenance.

Hygienic Process Integration

The Aseptoflex Vario connection is designed for hygienic process installations. The sensor provides continuous level measurement without mechanical floats. The probe can be shortened to suit vessel dimensions. The analogue output provides continuous process information. This makes LR2750 suitable for automated hygienic processes.

Flexible Configuration

The digital output can be configured independently from the analogue signal. The analogue output can be scaled to the required level range. IO-Link provides additional configuration and diagnostic capabilities. Fault handling can be configured through sensor parameters. This gives the LR2750 strong flexibility for automated tank management.
