Check Valve

PISCO PNEUMATIC Pneumatics Fittings

Check Valve

Check Valve permits the air flow in one direction but checks the flow in the opposite direction, thus keeping the output pressure at a constant level. PBT is used for the main resin parts. PBT: A standard resin material that is ideal for general environments. HNBR is used for the seal rubber material. The specified fluid medium is Air. Maximum operating pressure is 0.9MPa. Maximum vacuum is -100kPa. The operating temperature range is 0 to 60℃ (No freezing).

Product Overview

The Check Valve is a one-way flow device designed to allow air to pass in one direction while preventing reverse flow. This ensures that output pressure remains stable by blocking backflow, making it ideal for applications where maintaining consistent pressure is critical.

Construction and Materials

The valve body is constructed from PBT resin, a standard and cost-effective material suitable for general environmental conditions. The seal component uses HNBR rubber, which has enhanced ozone resistance due to hydrogen addition in the NBR structure, providing reliable performance in low-concentration ozone environments.

Configuration and Connections

Available in multiple connection types including metric male threads (M5x0.8, M6x1), taper pipe male threads (R1/8, R1/4, R3/8, R1/2), and standard UNF and NPT threads (10-32UNF, NPT1/8, NPT1/4, NPT3/8, NPT1/2), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of piping systems.

Operating Characteristics

The valve operates with a maximum pressure rating of 0.9MPa and can handle vacuum conditions down to -100kPa. It is suitable for use in vacuum retention states and low-pressure piping. The minimum operating differential pressure is 0.01MPa or less, and it opens at a minimum differential pressure of either 0.02MPa or 0.04MPa depending on configuration.

Sizes and Options

Available in standard sizes ranging from φ4 mm to φ12 mm (equivalent to φ5/32 inch to φ1/2 inch). A low-cracking-pressure variant is also available, with a minimum operating pressure of 0.5 kPa, offering reduced pressure activation for sensitive systems.

Installation and Integration

The valve can be integrated into systems using standard threaded connections such as metric male threads (M5x0.8, M6x1), taper pipe threads (R1/8 to R1/2), UNF (10-32UNF), and NPT (NPT1/8 to NPT1/2) interfaces, enabling straightforward installation in existing piping setups.
