The Ball Valve SUS316 Equivalent (10 Series) is a robust, reduced bore ball valve designed for reliable on/off control of fluids in industrial and process environments. It features a fully stainless steel construction with a SUS316 equivalent body and seat, ensuring durability under demanding conditions. This valve is ideal for applications involving air, inert gases like nitrogen or helium, water, and certain chemicals where corrosion resistance is critical.
The valve's primary fluid-contact components are made from SUS316 (also designated as CF8M), offering excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. No copper-based metallic materials are used in the flow path, making it suitable for applications sensitive to copper contamination. The stem is permanently fixed to the valve body, preventing disengagement during operation and ensuring long-term reliability.
The ball valve features a reduced bore design with standard taper pipe thread connections available in Rc1/4, Rc3/8, and Rc1/2 configurations. These threaded interfaces allow for straightforward integration into existing piping systems using common fittings and tools.
This valve is rated for maximum operating pressure of 5.5MPa (up to -29°C to +77°C) under standard conditions. It can also operate under a maximum vacuum of -101kPa (-100kPa), with an operating temperature range from -29°C to +232°C, ensuring performance in extreme thermal environments without liquid freezing. A secondary pressure rating of 1.0MPa is also specified for certain conditions.
Available in a range of sizes including φ4, φ6, φ8, φ10, φ12, and φ16 mm, the valve offers flexibility to match various system requirements. All variants are manufactured with the same high-performance SUS316 construction and are available without color options or additional finishes.
The valve is designed for direct installation into piping systems using standard taper pipe threads (Rc1/4, Rc3/8, Rc1/2). No lubrication is required during assembly—its non-grease, oil-free design ensures compatibility with clean and sensitive environments. The stem remains securely attached to the body throughout operation, eliminating the risk of disconnection.
