The Vacuum Generator VY is a compact, lightweight ejector designed to generate vacuum efficiently in industrial pneumatic systems. It features an integrated blow-off function that allows for controlled release of vacuum by simply applying or stopping supply air, enabling seamless switching between vacuum generation and blow-off mode without the need for additional components.
The main resin body is constructed from PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a standard engineering plastic suitable for general environmental conditions. Critical metal components, including the housing and internal fittings, are made from brass with electroless nickel plating to ensure durability and corrosion resistance. The seal material uses NBR (nitrile rubber), which provides reliable sealing performance under typical operating conditions, though it has limited ozone resistance.
The VY vacuum generator connects directly to the pneumatic system via a standard threaded interface. It is designed for installation at the end of the vacuum circuit, where it can be easily integrated into existing setups without requiring extensive modifications or additional piping. The connection uses metric thread sizes: φ4 mm (H and L types) or φ6 mm (E type), with corresponding inch equivalents of φ1/4".
The unit operates within an air pressure range of 0.3 to 0.7 MPa (equivalent to -10 to 0 kPa vacuum). It is rated for a supply pressure of 0.5 MPa for H and L types, and 0.35 MPa for the E type. Operating temperatures range from 5°C to 50°C under normal conditions, with no freezing risk; extended use up to 60°C is also supported.
The VY is available in three configurations: H, L, and E types. All models feature a small footprint and lightweight design, making them ideal for space-constrained applications. The only visible size variation is in the metric thread diameter—φ4 mm for H and L types, φ6 mm for the E type. No color options are available.
The vacuum generator supports direct integration into existing pneumatic circuits at the end of the vacuum line. Its blow-off function enables reliable vacuum release without relying on external solenoid valves, reducing system complexity and cost. This design achieves a significantly lower price than conventional vacuum generators that use solenoid valves for vacuum release.
