The TF butterfly valve - 2 inch is the DN50 configuration of UNITECH S.R.L.’s TechFly butterfly valve family. TF valves are quarter-turn isolation devices available in wafer, lug and double-flange executions. Their rigidly supported vulcanized seat is designed to improve dimensional stability and reduce deformation around the shaft compared with conventional dovetail-style seats.
The TF family covers DN40-DN1200. Published pressure classes include PN6, PN10, PN16, ANSI 150 and JIS 5K/10K. The exact DN50 datasheet entry specifies Kv 170 m³/h, L 43 mm, A 82 mm, B 161 mm, C 32 mm, S 11 mm and ISO 5211 F07.
The reduced-radius sealing profile is vulcanized onto a rigid support, improving stability and helping minimize deformation and leakage risk. Temperature limits by seat material are: NBR 90 °C, EPDM 120 °C, silicone 190 °C, FKM/FPM 180 °C and PTFE 130 °C. The actual limit must be selected from the configured valve and process conditions.
Body options include EN JS1030 GGG40 ductile iron, EN1.4408 AISI 316, EN1.0619 WCB and C95800 aluminium bronze. Disc options include EN JS1030, EN1.4408 and C95800. Seat options include EPDM, NBR, PTFE, FKM, high-temperature silicone and white food-grade EPDM.
TF valves can be operated manually by lever or handwheel gearbox. ISO 5211 mounting supports pneumatic DB or electric MV actuators. Optional accessories include emergency handwheel, mechanical or inductive limits, potentiometric or 4-20 mA feedback, local position indication, fail-safe execution and 4-20 mA / 0-10 V positioning.
Applications include industrial and civil systems, HVAC, naval installations, chemical and food processing, fire protection, water treatment, biogas and waste-treatment systems. TF “Q” ATEX execution is available on request, and PED class III and ATEX suitability for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 for applicable configurations.
