Explore performance details, construction highlights, applications, and technical information in one clear overview.
The Small Pressure Sensor 11 is a compact, precision pressure sensing device designed for applications requiring accurate gauge pressure measurement in air or non-corrosive, non-flammable gas environments. It features a diffused semiconductor pressure transducer to detect pressure changes and provides reliable performance across a range of operating conditions, making it ideal for use in industrial monitoring systems where space efficiency and accuracy are critical.
The sensor is constructed without any copper-based metallic materials in its flow path, ensuring compatibility with environments sensitive to copper corrosion. The seal rubber material uses HNBR or FKM elastomers, which offer excellent resistance to aging and chemical exposure. This construction ensures long-term reliability and performance stability under varying environmental conditions.
The sensor offers three distinct pressure introduction configurations: stem, male thread, and union types, allowing flexibility in integration with different piping systems. Additionally, six combinations of pressure range and output specification are available—combining three pressure types (positive, negative, compound) with two output options (switch and analog), enabling tailored solutions for diverse process requirements.
The sensor operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60°C, with no freezing risk, and can withstand humidity levels from 35% to 85% RH without dew condensation. It is rated for operating pressures ranging from -100 kPa to 300 kPa (positive), -100 kPa to 0 kPa (negative), or -100 kPa to 300 kPa (compound). Proof pressure ratings of 200 kPa, 1 MPa, and 1.5 MPa ensure robustness under overpressure conditions. The device consumes no more than 20 mA at 24 VDC when unloaded and delivers an output voltage between 1 and 5 V with a zero-point voltage of 1 ±0.1 V.
The sensor is available in two sizes: φ4 mm and φ6 mm, and comes in six distinct types based on pressure range and output type. All variants support either analog output or switch output (NPN open collector, up to 30V, 80mA or less with a residual voltage of ≤0.8 V). The product is not available in color options or other visual variations.
The sensor supports direct integration via three connection types: stem, metric male thread M5x0.8, and taper pipe male thread R1/8. These standardized interfaces allow for straightforward installation into existing systems without requiring custom fittings. The analog output can be paired with a separate display unit from the SED-31 series to provide real-time visual feedback.
