The Butterfly Valve UP - 2 inch is the DN50 configuration of UNITECH S.R.L.’s UniPan butterfly valve range. UP valves are designed primarily for heating and air-conditioning installations while remaining suitable for a broader set of industrial, civil, water-treatment and fire-protection duties.
The UP family covers DN40-DN300 and is specified for PN10/16. The published standard seat configuration uses EPDM with a temperature range of -10 to +120 °C. For the 2-inch entry, DN50 is the applicable nominal size. The DN50 dimensions are A 75 mm, B 132 mm, C 32 mm, S 11 mm, L 43 mm and ISO 5211 F07.
UP valves are offered in wafer or lug execution. Body materials include EN1563 JS1030 ductile iron and EN1561 GJL-250 grey iron. Disc materials include EN JS1030 ductile iron and EN1.4308 AISI 304 stainless steel. The standard seat is EPDM. This combination provides a practical configuration for water and HVAC-oriented piping where the published pressure and temperature envelope is appropriate.
UP valves can be supplied with a manual lever or handwheel gearbox. The ISO 5211 interface permits automation with compatible pneumatic DB or electric MV actuators. Optional accessories include emergency handwheel, mechanical or inductive limit switches, potentiometric or 4-20 mA feedback, local position indication, fail-safe execution and 4-20 mA / 0-10 V positioning.
UNITECH identifies UP valves for industrial and civil installations, heating and air-conditioning systems, water-treatment plants and fire-protection installations. The family is intended as a cost-effective butterfly-valve solution where its PN10/16 and EPDM temperature envelope fits the service.
The valve is available for applicable PED class I and ATEX zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 configurations. An ATEX UP “Q” version is available on request. Compatibility should always be checked against the actual fluid, pressure, temperature and installation environment.
