The ALPHAIR AP125-A is part of the AP-A Series range of pneumatic rack-and-pinion actuators. It is designed for rotary valve actuation and features internal adjustment system acting on pistons and covers to avoid side-loads on pistons, shaft and body. The actuator provides 90° movement.

The lower mounting arrangement supports valve fastening and centering according to ISO 5211 / DIN 3337.
Dry or lubricated filtered compressed air; pressure minimum 1 bar, maximum 8 bar / 120 PSI. Rotation adjustment is +/- 5°. Factory-applied lubrication for a minimum of 1,000,000 operations.
The body is made from forged stainless steel a182 f316 / en 10088-3 / 1.4401. The covers use forged stainless steel a182 f316 / en 10088-3 / 1.4401, while the pistons use casted aluminium alloy astm b179, anodized; micro-casted stainless steel a182 f316 available on request. The shaft is forged stainless steel aisi 316 (a4). Seal options include nitrile rubber nbr; high-temperature fpm/fkm and low-temperature silicone available on request.
Low-friction LAT-LUB acetalic resin bearings with +20% PTFE; replaceable for maintenance. Solenoid connections follow NAMUR VDI/VDE-3845, with top mounting provisions for accessories. The standard temperature range is -20°C to +80°C. 100% seal testing and running testing with electronic equipment; each actuator is individually tested.
AP125-A has a double-acting torque at 6 bar of 361.1 Nm and an A-90° dimension of 359 mm.
