The SG4-DONGLE (15 pcs) package provides fifteen SG4 Extended Ethernet communication interfaces for applications requiring multiple safety light curtain installations. The SG4-DONGLE connects to compatible SG4 Extended receivers and provides Ethernet TCP/IP access for programming, configuration, monitoring and diagnostics.
Each dongle enables connection to the SG4 Extended graphical user interface for complete parameterisation and monitoring. Supported functions include configuration cloning, error logging and configuration logging, helping standardise commissioning and simplify service activities across multiple installations.
When the dongle is used on the SG4 Extended receiver, the safety light curtain can support both muting and blanking configurations. This provides a flexible interface option where advanced SG4 Extended functionality needs to be configured or monitored from a PC.
The SG4-DONGLE uses Ethernet TCP/IP and industrial M12 connections. The interface is rated IP65 and is designed as an accessory for SG4 Extended Type 4 safety light curtain systems.
