Explore performance details, construction highlights, applications, and technical information in one clear overview.
The In-line Air Filter is a robust filtration solution designed to protect downstream equipment by removing particulates from air streams. It is suitable for both positive and negative pressure applications, making it ideal for use in compressed air systems, ventilation setups, or any environment where clean airflow is essential. As a pre-filter in positive-pressure applications, it helps reduce contamination before more sensitive filters are exposed to the airstream.
The filter body is constructed from PBT resin for its main structural components, a material well-suited for general environmental conditions. Key metal parts, including fittings and housings, are made from brass with electroless nickel plating, which enhances corrosion resistance and durability without introducing copper-based materials into the flow path.
The filter features FKM (fluoroketone) seal rubber material, selected for its superior performance in heat, chemical, and ozone resistance. This ensures reliable sealing under varying operational conditions. In some configurations, low-concentration ozone environments require HNBR or FKM seals—specific product compatibility with ozone levels must be verified based on the exact application.
The filter operates within a maximum operating pressure of 1.0MPa at 20℃ and can withstand a maximum vacuum of -100kPa. It is rated for a pressure resistance of up to 1.5MPa, allowing safe use in high-pressure systems. The operating temperature range is from 0°C to 50°C, with no freezing allowed during operation.
Available in multiple sizes, the filter offers φ4, φ6, φ8, and φ10 mm diameters, corresponding to φ5/32", φ1/4", φ5/16", and φ3/8" in inch measurements. These dimensions ensure compatibility with a wide range of piping systems and equipment configurations.
The filter is designed for easy element replacement without the need for tools, allowing quick maintenance and minimizing downtime during routine servicing. It integrates directly into existing air lines through standard threaded connections, ensuring seamless installation into both positive and negative pressure systems.
