The CR7021 is designed to implement central or decentralised safety control systems in mobile machinery. Its configurable I/O architecture allows different sensors and actuators to be connected according to the machine's functional requirements.
The controller is designed for safety applications with SIL CL 2 according to IEC 62061 and PL d according to ISO 13849-1. It also incorporates safety monitoring functions such as watchdog monitoring, undervoltage monitoring, program/system checksum testing and temperature monitoring.
